A Night of Football, Food, Fun and Crafts

I am so excited to show you the finished products with the stuff I bought the other night....The magnets are so easy and look adorable on my fridge! I will defiantly have to find the perfect photos to go in my new frames! Our friends the Anderson's came over last night. We had such a good time. The men watched the BYU game, the kids played, and the ladies worked on crafts. When the game was over we had the kids paint pumpkins-well sort of! Originally we were going to have them use paint, however, when the thought of washable markers crossed my mind I couldn't pass it up! Now until Halloween, I can wash off her pumpkin and let her do it again and again...plus, NO MESS!!!

MY LOVE, MY JOY, MY LIFE, MY EVERYTHING

I just wanted to say how much I absolutely LOVE these two very IMPORTANT people in my life. My husband is my rock... He keeps me grounded... He is so patience, kind, loving and tender. He is my soft place to fall and is ALWAYS willing to lift me back up. He is my best friend, and I his. He helps me to find joy in things I otherwise would not. I feel so blessed that I have him to have and to hold through ETERNITY!
My daughter is my little angel. She makes me smile, laugh, cry and everything in between. Her eyes sparkle with life and her smile brightens my day! Averi forever changed me-she is the reason why I love being a mom. I can't remember my days before her and I can't imagine them without her. I am so thankful she is mine, and I hers!!!
We are an Eternal Family!
Together, these two are my love, my joy, my life, MY EVERYTHING!!!!

Time for COOKIES!

Stirring up the dough
Caught tasting the dough
Putting the lines in Peanut Butter cookies
Ready for the oven
Delicious!!!!
Today was a fun day. I told Averi that she was going to "Mommies preschool of LOVE". She was so excited because she really wants to go to big people school. I thought I would take about 3 hours each week and just do school stuff with her. I held off on putting her in pre-school this year because I am worried that with 2 full years of it, she would wind up board, besides, I would much rather have her home with ME! I love spending time with MY BEAUTIFUL DAUGHTER!!
Today, she practiced how to write her name. I was blown away that she could actually do it with very little coaching. Sure, she doesn't do it perfect-BUT PRETTY DARN GOOD FOR A 3 YEAR OLD!!!! Needless to say both Garrett and I were VERY impressed! We also made a FALL art project with the leaves from our yard and we ended the day by making peanut butter and chocolate chip cookies. Here are a few pics of our fun time together!

Just being CUTE

Averi and PoJo

Averi and Baby Emily

CUTE HAIR!!!

I took these photos today and I couldn't resist putting them on the blog. We tried a new hair style for Averi today. With practice, I think it could be pretty cute. Pojo just had his bath and hair cut yesterday. He is so small. Averi loves to hold him but we worry that she will bust him in half! She loves her baby doll, Emily, and insisted that I took a pic of her as well.

ST. GEORGE TRIP

The Beautiful House we stayed in...

This past weekend, we had the opportunity to spend a long weekend in St. George. It was so much fun! We stayed at the Petty's vacation home, and it was SOMETHING !!! The bedrooms were themed (Cowboy, Golf, Asian and African), seriously amazing. The toy room was incredible too. Anything you could imagine was available for the kids to play with. We went with my close college friends and their families. We played, shopped, ate, swam, ate and played some more. It was so much fun watching the kids play and interact with one another. St. George was were Garrett and I met 12 years ago. We drove Averi to see our apartments that we lived in while attending Dixie and we showed her the first place we ever kissed. She LOVED that! It felt like old times cruising around town. It was nice to be reminded just how much I LOVE the place! Thank you Karen to you and your family for hosting us. We are looking forward to when we can all get together again!

GOOD TIMES!!!!
