Practice, Practice, Practice

Remember when you were little and your Mom would have to remind you to Practice your dance or WHATEVER it may have been... Lately, Averi has been the one to remind me that we need to practice her dance for her competition. Averi looks forward to dance class every week. My favorite thing is that she sings the entire song while she is dancing. Seriously, SO FUNNY! She knows all the words too!

I can only hope that her love for practicing her talents will be a desire and a passion for her as she grows, not a "DO I HAVE TO?"

Friends

Last week, Averi and I went to Las Vegas to spend some time with our friends. We had a great time but sadly had to come home early due to Averi getting sick.

We still managed to take the kids out one afternoon for a little fun.

We went to Color Me Mine, a pottery shop where you paint your project and they fire it for you. Averi chose a dog. I tried to have her paint a plate that she could use on special occasions but the DOG one! She was so careful not to get paint on her or her clothes. Good JOB SWEETIE!

Little Betty Crocker

Last week, Averi asked me if we could bake some cookies. I had no idea what a little Betty Crocker she would be! Such a big girl. She mixed and stirred, while giggling the entire time! I have so much fun with her. I am so glad that she likes sweets as much as I do!

BedTime Stories

I thought this was so cute, I had to show you. Averi loves it when her Daddy tells her bedtime stories. We went and saw the movie "Bedtime Stories" last week and loved it. I don't know how Garrett thinks up all of his crazy tales, the funny thing is, the next morning when she wakes, she will re-tell me EXACTLY what he told her the night before! I have to say "G" -Some are PRETTY GOOD!
